Welcome to the Fall and Winter 2009-2010 edition of

The Jaeger Journal.

Much has happened since we last did a complete rewrite of the Journal and this one is so so overdue. The format for the Journal remains the same though hopefully more readable

One of the goals of the rewritten Journal is to make it flow better and therefore easier for you to read while still maintaining our basic format of Family, Friends, Organizations and of course the Op Ed page where I can express my opinions on anything and everything.

The Photo Op is new and will include a selection of photos and collages that we hope you will find fun and interesting.

Jaeger Journal II, www.jaegerjournal.net , is the photo album for The Jaeger Journal. Photos from the past two years plus family photos, photos related to Allnet friends and AEPi photos are saved on this site. It could take a while before this page is up and running

The photos, which were put together using Photoshop Elements use a variety of different templates for display purposes which while fun to do also is why it will take more time to get on line. They editorially reflect my own choices though when in doubt i have included multiple photos of the same person or people in say the Family History Album and the Allnet Album.

The In the Genes site, www.inthegenes.org is the home site for our family history including copies of documents. Much of the site requires a user id and password for access due to the nature of the information stored on the site. Family members have been supplied with passwords and ids and others can request them if they can show a need for access. In all likelihood this will be the last piece set up simply because the use of a password protected page that then is set to go to two other "pages" is both cumbersome and a bit difficult to do (it also means separating the code out so it remains on the server).
