The West Coast Jaegers continue to bring smiles to our faces as the four grandchildren continue to grow and develop.
Elijah is continuing in his school but now on a full time basis. We receive "refrigerator pictures and work" that he is doing in school and and enjoy playing the proud grandparents. Jacob continues to grow and is still a smiling fun young boy. Mostly chasing after his older brother and then the two of them conspiring to create all sorts of fun havoc in the Jaegerville Zoo. Photos and videos of the boys and their cousins as well are at www.jaegerville.com The site is updated frequently as both Steven and Sarah are avid photographers and love to have a running photo history of their boys.
Steven and Sarah have completed the redecoration of their kitchen with all new cabinets and flooring as well as doing the same for the two baths. They are looking for a larger home in the same general vicinity but including Dana Point. A major factor for them will be that the home is not in a condominium or other situation where there is a plethora of rules and regulations.
David and Laura and the two girls are in the early stages of their round the world trip, though they are still on the West Coast slowly working their way north to Washington State from where they expect to leave for Hawaii and after a brief stop go on to New Zealand and Australia. No firm timetable has been set. laura is home teaching Abygale during the trip as well as Delila.
David is able to work from virtually anywhere so long as an internet connection exists so that the business can continue to grow and thrive. The boys are considering hiring an additional programmer to assist on some of the daily issues that confront them and have pursued that possibility. In the meantime with the use of modern technology both Steven and David are able to continue to grow the business while
David is away from Orange County.
Back home in Michigan, a short and rather wet and cool summer abruptly turned to winter without an opportunity for a real fall though the forecasters claim an indian Summer is in the offing (one requirement being that the temperatures must go below the freezing mark for the warm-up to be an actual Indian Summer. The trees thanks to the lower temperatures are all turning the colors of fall and making the area look attractive but unfortunately we all know too well that the "S" word is following soon.
Caryn and I are still busy with a million projects and loving all of them. ACS/CAN keeps me quite busy as does a number of other projects and Relay is starting up with new challenges for Caryn. Caryn just started working for an old High School friend on a part time basis and that will occupy a good part of her time but she is enjoying it.
On October 27th we will celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary and are attending a JARC Fund Raiser at the Fisher Theatre after a dinner out. Should be a fun evening, a lot of our friends will be at the Theatre though dinner will just be the two of us.
Around the world the family keeps growing and growing. Using Face Book we have connected with or reconnected to 28 cousins in the US, Australia, Britain, France and New Zealand. We "speak" to some of them on almost a daily basis.
Andy Collins is back home on leave safe and sound and enjoying his pursuits as both a motorcycle rider and a huge football (soccer to us Americans) fan.
Julliette Forstenzer's wedding is coming up in a very short time and we wish her well.
Birthdays too numerous to mention but our wishes go out to everyone. There is a selection of family photos on our Face Book page and eventually will be on Jaegerjournal.net (that's the next major project for me)
