Congratulations to Marvin and Phyllis Salomon on their 50th Wedding Anniversary. Their kids hosted a celebration at "Cheeburger Cheeburger" a '50s type diner near us complete with the right type of music and a slide show of photos over the past 50 years.

Happy Birthdays to a bunch of people, including Cari Koesten, Carrie Miller, Dawn Kolb, Gary Koesten, Barry Lepler and many others

Al Nita was in town for a few days and we got together with a group of old Allnet/Frontier people at Shields, including Ron Eichstadt who I hadn't seen since 2003, Ray Imhoff, Kim Howard, Jen Gentry and Mark Elzy. We must hold get togethers like this more often (there are 77 photos and a collage on my Face Book Photo page of our Allnet/GX friends. Album is entitled "Allnet"

Steve and Tammy Popchuck went to a Halloween party dressed as a construction barrel and cones - absolutely hysterical and could set a fashion trend (picture on the photo op page.)

AshleyLlaForest came in as first runner up in the Miss Auburn-Midland pageant - good job Ash! She was asked about her trip to Washington with ACS-CAN which gave us some publicity (she's an ACT lead and also an18 year cancer survivor - that would mean age 2 when diagnosed).

The movie group had a record breaking 20 people at dinner recently - probably drove the the waitress bananas but we tip well! Marty has lost close to 90 pounds and looks great but can't eat half of what he used to.

JARC's fall fundraiser is this Tuesday october 27th and a large group of us are going to see "Legally Blond" at the Fisher Theatre.

Thanks to Wanda Escoto for always remembering the names of all the 17,000 Allnet/GX employees of old - all i had to do is give her a subjective, admittedly, description and she usually had the name for me
